Newman Collard Playing Fields in the centre of Liss is a great place to hire a tennis court in East Hampshire. All three courts at Newman Collard are hard courts and close to other facilities including the pond, children’s' play area and toilets. Liss was voted Village of the Year by the Hampshire Association of local councils in autumn 2017 and Newman Collard Tennis Club won Hampshire and Isle of Wight LTA club of the year in 2019 for its efforts to get more people playing more tennis. Liss is close to Petersfield in the South Downs National Park on the East Hampshire, Surrey and Sussex border and is increasingly recognised as one of the most important gateways to the South Downs National Park.
