Performance Support2.jpg

Nurturing the talents of today into the champions of tomorrow. We're dedicated to supporting the most promising players to reach their potential at all levels of local, national and international tennis.

Through our world class Player Pathway, we support performance players from the age of seven up to the world’s top singles and doubles players. There are five stages to the pathway, each with different programmes to suit different players, including: Regional Performance, National Performance, International Junior, Pro Transition and Pro.

Similarly, our Wheelchair Performance Pathway is made up of a collection of programmes and initiatives for wheelchair players to take their next steps in their tennis careers, all the way up to the peak of the professional game.

Players can find all the information and support they need to reach and succeed on the professional level with our extensive resources available in the Pro Players Area.

In 2022 we developed a new enhanced Performance Competitions Calendar to better support each age and stage of the player pathway – from juniors to the pros.

In the last year, we doubled the number of International ITF World Tennis Tour events and held twice the number of international events for juniors, compared to 2019. This has led to an 165% increase in the number of British players competing in main draws of professional competitions compared to 2019.
