Events
We have a rich history of hosting successful major events across Britain, delivering significant crowds and wider engagement with tennis.
As part of its vision to open up tennis to more people and places around the country, we're also keen to explore opportunities to bring more major tennis events to Britain outside of the grass court season. This is to grow visibility of the sport throughout the year, engage more people across the country with tennis, and inspire the next generation to pick up a racket.
During the summer, we host an action-packed grass court season in the build up to Wimbledon - featuring the world's best women's, men's and wheelchair stars. These include:
- cinch Championships
- Rothesay International Eastbourne
- Rothesay Classic Birmingham
- Rothesay Open Nottingham
- Lexus Surbiton Trophy
- Lexus Ilkley Trophy
- Lexus British Open Roehampton
Previously, we have brought the best players to British audiences through the Davis Cup and the Billie Jean King Cup Finals in Glasgow in 2022. In 2023, we hosted the Davis Cup Finals Group Stage in Manchester, ahead of the Billie Jean King Cup finals in London.
In addition, the enhanced GB domestic calendar has helped to better support each age and stage of the player pathway, leading to 40 weeks of enhanced international ranking point and prize money earning opportunities for players.
