Yes, you were guaranteed the option to purchase a pair of tickets. There were more pairs of tickets in the sale than people who have access and as a result you were guaranteed to access a pair of tickets. 

Those who were successful in the ballot will have received an email confirming the outcome of the ballot and the date of the ticket sale.
