Adults with responsibility for supervising children should ensure they have completed a DBS check through the LTA.  If the adult is in ‘regulated activity’, it is a legal requirement for them to complete an Enhanced DBS check with the Barred List prior to starting any work. If the adult is working with children, but is not in regulated activity, an Enhanced DBS check should be requested.
