The Policy sets out rules according to competition level, rather than player level or type.  So a performance player playing in a “Specified Competition” under the Policy (i.e. any competition which is Graded 1-6 at any point in the competition, or any other competition which is explicitly Specified by the LTA, will have to comply with the Policy.  If those players are playing in competitions sanctioned by international bodies such as the WTA or ITF, then they will need to comply with the relevant body’s rules.
