We will ensure that there are inclusive changing spaces available in any LTA owned venues for the use of trans and non-binary individuals to enable them to get changed in private.  We have taken the decision to restrict access to the Women’s Changing Rooms at the National Tennis Centre and Nottingham Tennis Centre to those who were assigned female at birth.  Similarly, access to the Men’s Changing Rooms will be restricted to those who were assigned male at birth.  This decision is based on the guidance on the interpretation of the relevant provisions in the Equality Act from the Equality and Human Rights Commission – which can be accessed here.
