About our Play Tennis app for your venue

The Play Tennis app is a new court booking tool launched this summer – making it easier than ever for players to find and book tennis courts at your venue.
The app allows players to secure a court, join classes and connect with local players through the new Communities function.
The app focuses on making the journey to court as easy as possible. Using features like biometric login as well as Google and Apple pay it is now possible to book a court in as little as four taps.
How to get your tennis venue on the Play Tennis app
The courts featured on the app are pulled from the LTA’s online booking platform.
Not already registered? Just follow these simple steps:
- Complete LTA Venue Registration to gain access to a venue ClubSpark account
- Set your ClubSpark bookings settings
- Speak to your Local LTA representative who can activate your venue on to our online booking system
The app can be downloaded using the below buttons:
- New and improved journey to book a tennis court, group class and children’s lessons
- Facial/ biometric login
- Google and Apple Pay
- Highlighted ‘recently booked and ‘nearby’ venues
- Community venue profile page and chat
- Individual and group chat amongst players within a community
- Players can book courts and find other players through communities in their area
- Connect with people who have similar abilities and preferences for playing, all while using a nearby park venue
- Players can decide if a player matches their ability before connecting, ensuring that they find the perfect match
- The profile allows players to optimise their compatibility experience and find even more people to play tennis with.
- A group of engaged players in their local area
- Create group chats for sessions such as ‘Barclays Free Park Tennis’ to encourage participation
- Can be used to facilitate coaching amongst smaller groups
- Promote bookings and usage of the park courts within the app
- Allows players to find others to play against, resulting in increased court bookings
