Letchworth Sports and Tennis Club is looking for a performance tennis coach to lead the development of the Junior Performance programme. The objective of the role is to increase the number of players within the programme along with taking a lead role with managing player programmes.

This will consist of a mixture of Junior Performance individual/group classes and programming. The successful candidate would report to the Tennis Manager & will work alongside the Mini Performance Lead to ensure effective transition between Mini and Junior programmes at the club.

Letchworth Sports and Tennis Club is a family club with 3 indoor and 8 outdoor tennis courts. Although catering predominantly for tennis, there are several other sporting facilities on site including squash, badminton, table-tennis, a gym with studio, and croquet. As well as the indoor courts, the club house comprises of a sports shop, treatment rooms, fitness studio, and restaurant. The club is in walking distance of Letchworth Garden City town centre with good train and road links.

LSTC is a members’ club with a board of directors who work with the staff and coaches towards common goals: To build and develop the tennis programme, provide the best possible coaching and customer service, and to enhance the overall experience for players and guests.

We are looking for a coach to join the team who will bring enthusiasm and show dedication to our tennis programme. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong teamwork and a positive mindset and either have a background in performance coaching or have a good playing level.

We are looking to employ a coach with a good level of play as well as being proficient, confident, and experienced in taking the lead delivering group coaching.
