As a Junior Tennis Professional at David Lloyd Chigwell you will form an important part of our team with responsibility for running a super successful tennis program. You will be in charge of setting the highest possible standards for our junior tennis program, from 3 to 18 years old, beginners to high performance players.

Responsibilities:

With our state-of-the-are facilities, exceptional indoor and outdoor tennis courts and all year-round coaching, our members', children and parents have the finest experience possible, whether they're holding a racquet for the first time, or showing real promise on the court. Your main responsibilities will be:

- Supporting a fantastic team of coaches in order to secure that they are delivering exceptional tennis sessions.

- Ensuring that there is a clear pathway that is well communicated with our members in order to support junior players to progress as much as possible, as quick as possible, in a safe, injury free, and fun way.


The role involves:

- Coaching on court and leading by example by delivering extremely high quality coaching sessions.

- Managing the program by optimizing the timetable and satisfying the needs of our members.

- Growing the program - we are one of the biggest clubs in the UK and Europe.

- Dealing with admin, complaints, and a see it - fix it - hands on approach.

You will have administrative and coaching hours for the club, paid holidays, and as many private lessons as you can handle. Growing a one-to-one business will be integral to your success.

David Lloyd Chigwell is one of the premier commercial tennis and fitness centres in North London and Essex.

With nearly 9000 member we have a large junior and adult programme, state of the art facilities, 8 indoor tennis & 4 outdoor courts (2 bubble courts), 3 indoor padel courts, 2 indoor badminton / pickleball courts, and indoor table tennis (3 tables).

What qualifications, skills and experience do I need?

- LTA Level 4 or Level 5 tennis coach.

- LTA Youth Coach.

- Long term player development and performance squads.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Excellent organizational skills.

- Enthusiastic and engaging personality.

- Being a top professional that we can rely at all times.

- Experience in a premium customer service environment.

- Team player who acknowledges how amazing, and how challenging the job of a good tennis coach is.

We would consider applications from experienced LTA Level 3 coaches, and very experienced tennis coaches with a proven successful background in leading clubs across the world who are taking the LTA qualifications, and they are already settled in the UK with the right to work.
