Tennis Coach at The Wimbledon Club
Guaranteed start of 13 hours a week on our Junior Programme over 6 days. The Junior Programme is over 7 days and the core hours on offer are Monday to Friday 4-6pm and Saturday Morning 8.30 - 11.30.
The ideal coach would be reliable and want to work more hours. There is scope to be involved with our Adult Programme through Social Tennis and Group Coaching. We also offer various different sessions including Walking Tennis, Disability Tennis, Cardio Tennis etc, so there is potential to do different sessions.
We also offer 121 lessons for members, Adults and Juniors aged 6 and over, so there is potential to work as much as you want to.
The Wimbledon Club is situated opposite Centre Court and has the perfect tennis setting. The Tennis Club has 7 artificial clay courts (3 covered in winter months), 2 Poraflex Courts and in Summer 6 Grass Courts. We also have an indoor sports hall with a multi purpose tennis court.
We have a Bar and Restaurant with regular Social Events and the Club also has Cricket, Squash and Hockey Sections.
The Club has a great history but is also a very friendly club. We have some National Players but also social players of all levels. There are 15 Teams competing in the Surrey Leagues. Our Junior Programme continues to expand and we are happy to coach some very promising players.
We are looking for a Tennis Coach with experience. You will hold the LTA Level 3 or above certificate and be Accredited plus by the LTA. You need to be reliable and keen to work with children, at all ball stages. You need to work well within a team of coaches and flexibility would be really good. Ideally you will want to build up more hours working here and there is opportunities to do so. We don't expect you to be experienced in all sessions but a willingness to learn and adapt is essential. |
