Tennis Coach - Stevenage, Hertfordshire.


National Tennis are seeking a passionate, driven level 2 tennis coach, looking to take the next step in their tennis coaching career work to independently and build a coaching business.
We are currently seeking to have some provision on a Saturday, Sunday, or both, the schedule could be worked around the right candidate. Full financial support will be given as this is an existing project looking to re-launch.
The successful candidate will be able to deliver an individual coaching business alongside delivering a group coaching programme, which will be supported with marketing by NTA.
Key Responsibilities:
On-Court Delivery: Continue to deliver and maintain high quality tennis coaching sessions, including LTA Youth Start, Tennis Express, Adult Sessions, and Cardio Tennis. Develop school/club links to enhance the outreach in South Oxfordshire.
Personal Coaching Business: Opportunity to supplement income through individual coaching on a self-employed basis.
Other duties may be required such as coach meetings, including on and off court training.
Overview of Venues
Shephalbury Park is a new 5 court, tarmac macadam site, which the LTA identified as a project to fully fund resurfacing in 2023/24.

There is also potential work for the right candidate with a full driving licence, in Bedford and Luton.

The successful applicant will ideally be an LTA Level 2 coach or above and have:
On-Court:
Ideally 6 months experience as a level 2 coach, tailoring sessions to cater to a range of skill levels, ensuring a dynamic and engaging learning environment.
Commitment to ensuring the safety and welfare of all participants by adhering to safeguarding policies and promoting a positive and inclusive sporting environment.
Off-Court Responsibilities:
Ability to engage with NTA management, Schools, Parents and Committees.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to problem solve.
