Tennis Coach - South London
This position is based within a brand-new park tennis programme in Greater London, across four park venues featuring 16 outdoor hard courts in the London Borough of Southwark. The coach will lead all aspects of delivery at the parks, including group coaching, individual sessions, and school outreach. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and grow a community-focused tennis programme in collaboration with a national partner.
The role guarantees 20 hours of group coaching per week with additional opportunities for individual coaching hours. Coaches will also have the freedom to develop and expand group sessions, increasing earning potential. Weekly delivery will include mini tennis, junior and adult group coaching, school sessions, and individual lessons. Additional opportunities are available for delivering holiday camps and tournaments on an ad hoc basis.
An LTA Level 2 Coaching Qualification or above is desirable but not essential. Motivated candidates will receive robust support, including a comprehensive onboarding process, ensuring a seamless transition into the role.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and deliver a high-quality tennis programme catering to all ages and abilities across multiple park venues.
Deliver a minimum of 20 hours of core junior, adult, and school coaching per week, with availability for individual coaching sessions.
Regularly assess and adapt programme quality to ensure consistent growth in participation and venue usage.
Actively contribute to the success of holiday camps and tournaments when required.
Undertake additional responsibilities as needed to support the team and programme objectives.

LTA Youth: Fun and developmental tennis for young players aged 4-17.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:
LTA Level 2 Coaching Qualification or above (Level 3 or higher strongly preferred).
Proven experience delivering a range of tennis coaching sessions for various age groups and abilities.
Ability to travel to venues and a commitment to being present at all required sessions.
