Tennis Coach - Camberley - Surrey
This is a growing project starting with 4 hours of core group delivery on Saturdays, plus the opportunity to quickly build hours of individual coaching sessions. This is an exciting project with National Tennis and for the right coach, this could also grow into a full time role by 2024.
On-court delivery consists of LTA Youth Start through to Adult group sessions on a Saturday 9am - 1pm with the rest of the day and week to teach individual lessons.
The successful candidate will be able to deliver an individual coaching business. There are no court fees to deliver individual coaching and the successful candidate will run a self-employed coaching business alongside delivering a group coaching programme.
The right coach will quickly build regular individual coaching sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
To deliver and maintain a high quality, all-round coaching programme that caters for all ages and abilities.
To deliver an initial minimum of 4 hours of core group coaching per week and be available for individual coaching delivery. Group coaching hours are from 9am - 1pm on a Saturday. Full description available during interview.
To assess the programme quality and check results regularly alongside the Programme Manager where necessary to ensure the programme and venues usage continues to grow.
To undertake any other duties as may be required, such as coach meetings and off court training.
The location is at London Road, Camberley, Surrey. It is a four court venue that has received significant investment from the LTA.

-The successful candidate must be a level 2 or above, ideally working towards their Club Coach Award.
- They must be comfortable working with children aged 4-17 and be trained as an LTA Youth coach. The candidate must also have:
-Passion and enthusiasm for the game
- Minimum 1 years experience in delivering a wide range of coaching sessions.
- A strong customer service ethos and desire to improve coaching services to all.
- A professional manner and reliable
- The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
- The passion for continued learning and self-development
- Experience in using software packages (including ClubSpark)
