We are looking for a full time coach at our busy club.

•Coaching Junior & Adult Groups, Holiday Camps & School Squads
•Individual lessons
•Indoor courts 6 months of year
•Ideally interested in playing for a Team

Bishop’s Stortford Lawn Tennis & Padel Club is a well-established club with a thriving membership of over 650 playing tennis members plus padel members.

•We have a long running successful tennis programme and an extensive schools program.
•The club has 5 astro courts, 3 hard courts (with seasonal dome), 2 artificial clay courts, 2 canopy covered Padel courts and 6 grass tennis courts.
•We enter Junior & Senior Teams in local and county leagues and offer a social and competitive atmosphere to the Club.
•We run a successful programme at a number of schools and last year took over running the Park courts.

•The successful candidate will be a dynamic and enthusiastic coach with great communication and team skills, and experience in coaching both adults and children.
•Work well in a team, organised, reliable, punctual and efficient at time management.
•You will be responsible for delivering elements of the club
programme as well as delivering and expanding the schools programme with the aim of increasing junior membership.
•The role includes mentoring assistant coaches at the club.
•Ideally you will be available to represent the club in team matches, both summer and winter as required, as well as keen to be fully involved with the club’s community.
•Attend termly coaches meetings.
•Use of a car is essential.
•Hourly rate dependent on experience and qualifications.
•Group hours likely to be predominantly 3-9pm Monday to Friday, Saturday mornings and some midweek daytime sessions plus individual lessons to fit in around groups.
