Head of East Midlands Parks

This role is based in our park venues across the East Midlands. As an on court coach, you will be at the helm of all activities, overseeing group lessons, one-on-one coaching, and educational outreach to schools. Off court, your role will be to help drive court bookings, Annual Pass sales, and all other parts of the WDT parks programme, building connections with stakeholders and the local community to maximise tennis provision.
This is a unique chance to help build and expand a tennis program that prioritizes community engagement, working hand-in-hand with a national organisation. With newly upgraded facilities, we are able to offer this role to a coach who is looking for a full-time career in tennis.
The position offers flexibility to take on more individual and / or group coaching sessions, thus enhancing your income. You'll have the autonomy to expand group classes, tailoring sessions for mini tennis, juniors, adults, and schools. Beyond regular sessions, there are opportunities to lead tournaments and other events.
We feel that this role could be performed brilliantly by different people at varying stages of the LTA Coach Pathway and would welcome applications from ambitious coaches starting their journey, or more experienced coaches wanting to use their experience to make a difference. We're looking for driven individuals; successful applicants will benefit from extensive support, including a thorough onboarding program to ease into the role effectively. As a CDC, we are able to help support with coaching qualifications.
