Full Time Club Coach
The successful coach will lead groups through our entire program including adults, juniors, minis, and performance. A great opportunity to be part of a very large coaching programme and our growing our academy programme. You will also have access to all members of the club to deliver individual lessons. Availability to coach during the week and one weekend day is required.
A willingness/qualification to coach Paddle and Pickel is desired but not essential.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, and professional coach to deliver sessions that will keep both adults and juniors engaged and enjoying their lessons, whilst continually improving. You must be a dedicated coach, keen for personal career progression and keeping your knowledge base up to date.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe and fun on court sessions
- Plan group lessons according to simple curriculum
- Provide high quality individual lessons
- Stay up to date with Qualifications and CPD
- Attend coach meetings
The Lensbury is a members club that also allows non members to be part of our Tennis Coaching Programme, and be given individual lessons. We have over 7000 total members, and over 1000 members that play tennis regularly (Adults & Juniors)
We currently have:
- 8 floodlit hard courts
- 4 clay courts
- 4 artificial grass courts
- 3 grass courts
- 5 mini courts/pickel courts
We are building 2 brand new padel courts to be available by March 2025.
We have a state of art gym, a pro gym for professional sports teams, 2 world class rugby/football pitches, indoor swimming pool, regular gym classes including spinning and reformer pilates. There is also a top of the range spa, 2 restaurants/lounges, and a conference center, alongside the Hotel.
The successful coach will have access to all the facilities in the club.
Person must be a qualified and experienced LTA accredited minimum level 3.

- Adequate playing standard
- Passion for tennis and a commitment to player development
- Demonstrated ability to work with players of all ages and abilities
- The ability to inspire juniors.
- Organised and punctual with good IT skills
- Excellent communicator/customer service skills
- DBS and a good understanding of Safeguarding Standards and practice
