Head Coach

Our club is seeking a dynamic and motivated Head Tennis Coach to lead our coaching program and inspire players of all ages and abilities, who would, ideally, be seeking to gaining their level 3 qualification within 3 years. They should be able to organise group sessions, private lessons, and club competitions in addition to promoting tennis participation and engagement within the club and wider community. It is important to us that our growing junior programme goes from strength to strength. You will work closely and have the support of the tennis committee to help grow (particularly the junior membership) and enhance the club. It’s a fantastic opportunity to help shape and grow a coaching program.
We are a welcoming, well-funded club with a strong community focus. We have a dedicated membership base, excellent facilities, and a commitment to player development at all levels, from beginners to competitive players. We have the full support of the main committee and are always seeking to improve our facilities. Recently, we added a dedicated Pickleball court and now have advanced plans for 2 Padel Courts. In addition, we have plans for a major club house improvement programme.
The person we are seeking should be relatable to all ages and will have strong leadership and communication skills and would typically have had at least 5 years coaching experience with players of all ages and be keen to developing and delivering a high-quality coaching program for juniors and adults. They will therefore have a passion for player development and growing the sport and the ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends. Be able to lead and mentor a team of coaches as the coaching programme develops.
