Hub Coach - Tennis for All (L2 & Above)
Tennis for All is looking for two Hub Tennis Coaches to help expand our parks programme and help take tennis into the local community. Our team are friendly, hardworking, motivated and all love working together to create a great tennis environment for our customers. If you are a confident Level 2 coach or above, then this could just be for you.
We are looking for friendly and reliable coaches to join our great team to deliver tennis to the community in our ever-expanding venues around North London. As a Hub Tennis Coach, you will be responsible to lead sessions and create a welcoming community environment to both adults and juniors of all ages and abilities. You will work with the Tennis for All management team to increase participation and retention at the hub sites.
Our programme will be the Hub Coaches main priority and will include sessions such as: -
•Mini tennis
•Junior squads
•School sessions
•Adult beginners, intermediate & advanced
•Adult team tennis
•60+
•SEND
•Women only
•Holiday camps
We are offering Hub Coaches
•12 hours per week which will be paid as a monthly salary
• Further hours available which will be paid at an hourly rate,
•Opportunity to build and manage your own private 1:1 coaching
Tennis for All was set up by the Access to Sports’ Project to make the sport more inclusive. We want to target underrepresented segments of the local community including women, people from ethnic minority communities, people with special educational needs and those on low incomes. We run various school and community projects and we run an extensive programme.
The Access to Sports project is a community led, creative & innovative sports development charity that works across the London boroughs of Islington, Haringey & Hackney.
-LTA Level 2 or above qualification
-DBS, First Aid & Safeguarding qualifications
-Is a positive role model
-Is friendly, reliable and has good timekeeping skills.
-Is organised, flexible and can be a good team player.
-Has a dynamic on court manner and a strong on court presence
