Club Coach
You will have an opportunity to coach mini tennis, junior tennis and adults, from beginner through to team level.
Initially you will have group hours on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings, with the potential to take on more group hours/days.
Holiday Camp hours will be available.
You will be able to organise informal matchplay at the club.
You will be able to grow a client base of one to one lessons, and will assist the Head Coach with the growth and development of the overall program.
Ideally you will be able to start in time for the January term - if not sooner
ALTSBC is approx 140 years old, is situated just minutes from the beach and boasts 7 astro courts (1 lit), a hard court, and the only INDOOR COURT in the area.
We have a Bar and Recreation area, Squash courts, Pickleball courts, changing rooms and free parking.
We are a friendly, member-operated club that is always looking for ways to enhance the member’s experience - and the coaching team are fully supported by a hard working committee and club staff.
A HEAD racket/kit deal with preferential rates will be offered.
You will ideally be a level 3 coach, but a level 2 with intention to take the level 3 will be considered.
You will have a good playing level - think club A team or better - and will be happy working with advanced club players as well as beginners.
You will be friendly, a good communicator, someone who can use their initiative with the ability to build rapport with players, parents and members.
This role could potentially become a Head Coach role in the future for the right candidate.
