Bristol Parks Tennis Coach


A self-employed role delivering sessions for children and adults in park sites across Bristol.
Sessions are primarily Red and Orange Ball children's sessions and Beginner and Improver Adult classes. There are also community tennis sessions such as Mental Health & Wellbeing sessions, Disability sessions and Walking Tennis.
There is also option to deliver individual lessons as and when required by the court users.
The courts and programme are managed by Wesport (the Active Partnership). You will be supported by the Parks Tennis Manager and an administrator.
Hours are very flexible, we are looking for additional coaches to join the team, we would welcome applicants who could do 2 hours a week up to 30 hours a week.
Bristol Parks Tennis is managed by the West of England Sport Trust (Wesport). We manage Bristol Parks Tennis and Tennis@thepark - Bath and Keynsham. Both projects equate to 33 tennis courts across 7 park sites.

The ideal candidate would be comfortable working on their own in a parks setting and be driven and entrepreneurial to grow their own schedule.
With a focus on introductory tennis it is vital that you are skilled in welcoming people to the sport and ensure they gain the basic concepts quickly and in a fun and enjoyable environment.
