> 15 hours of working with GTC Coaching could include:
> Term Coaching Programme - Beginner, Development, Competition and Performance.
> Schools and Nursery programme.
> New Parks coaching programme
> Disability Tennis
> Yearly Community Programme includes Walking Tennis, Feeling Good, Active 65s, Adult and Junior Drop-in Classes.
> Competition Programme
> 10 hours or more Individual lessons per week.


Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour delivering GTC Groups (experience dependant)
Coaches decide what to charge for their own individual lessons.


There will be a chance to shape, grow and build the programme.


Most coaching programme inside, some outside.


> Equipment Sponsorship through our GTC Shop.
> Work life balance a priority but willingness to work Sunday also essential as the willingness to maybe occasionally work a Saturday.
> Happy to travel to local schools, community groups etc.
> Available for GTC Events including LTA Festivals.
> Captain a GTC Team (Junior or Adult).


For coaches that are interested in management within a large tennis club, there may be the opportunity for an employed role alongside coaching. This would suit a sports management graduate or someone who has experience in managing a coaching programme or being responsible while working in the leisure industry. If interested, please make this clear in your supporting statement.


Successful applicants will be invited to a Face-to-Face and On-Court interview.

Location: Grantham, Lincolnshire. (1hr 10mins from London on the train, 40mins drive to Nottingham, 45mins Leicester).

> Outdoor Courts: 4 Astro 5 Artificial Clay 4 Mini Red Courts – All LED floodlit.
> Indoor Courts: 4 Acrylic courts with viewing gallery upstairs and downstairs.
> 4 Indoor Pickleball Courts.
> View to introduce 2 outdoor Padel Courts in 2025.
> Well equipped gym
> Cafe and Bar
> Well-equipped Tennis Shop and stringing service
> Aim to be almost carbon neutral by 2026.
> New Solar Panels imminent.

> Coaching team - 8 Tennis Coaches (LTA Level 2 Instructor - Level 5 Club Coach)

> Modern Tennis Club Committee, President and Vice-presidents
> Charity Trustees
> External Accountant, HR, IT and H&S consultants

But we are still a tennis club not a tennis centre.

Minimum LTA Accredited Instructor or higher qualification.
First Aid, Safeguarding and DBS Certification.

We are looking for a tennis coach / tennis coaches who love tennis coaching with a can-do approach to come to join our team to inspire our 1200 strong membership and even more non-members in their tennis journey. We will be hiring based on attitude and positive mindset rather than qualification.
