For the right person this is a great opportunity with lots of potential. As one of our coaches , you will be enthusiastic, versatile, and flexible with a commitment to set up and subsequently deliver a comprehensive coaching programme to our Club and community. We are looking for someone to join our team, that can bring their enthusiasm and energy to expand our membership and daytime coaching programme and encourage increased participation from our junior members to our adult social members.
There is an opportunity to expand group work and boosting earnings with extra individual lessons.

 Horncastle and District Tennis Club is a Community Amateur Sports Club run by a committee of volunteers.
The Club caters for all ages and abilities from 1 year olds through to a thriving pensioners section and actively encourages families to play together.
We have,
5 floodlit macadam all weather courts, which have all undergone new LED light installation and resurfacing.
3 floodlit Mini Red under 8 courts
Mini Orange under 9 courts permanently marked on all courts
Practice wall marked with targets

We currently fields 2 x Summer Ladies, 1 x Summer Men’s, 1x Winter Ladies Open, 2x Winter ladies Veteran, 1x Winter Men’s and 3x Junior Men’s Teams, all in the Lincolnshire League. There is also 1x Mixed Summer Team in the Boston League, and are hoping to increase this number.

We also have a court side Clubhouse with toilet and kitchen facilities.

We think the ideal candidate will have a great mix of people skills, a fun and positive outlook, and real knowledge and passion for the game.

On-Court:

The successful applicant will ideally be an LTA Accredited + Level 3 Coach or above, or a Level 2 Accredited Coach working towards Level 3.
Ability to tailor sessions to cater to a range of skill levels, ensuring a dynamic and engaging learning environment.
Commitment to ensuring the safety and welfare of all participants by adhering to safeguarding policies and promoting a positive and inclusive sporting environment.

Off-Court Responsibilities:

Strong planning skills to develop and execute long-term visions for program growth.
Ability to engage with management, schools, parents, and community groups.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to problem-solve.
Computer skills, excel, clubspark.

General Skills and Qualities:
A dedication to personal and professional development, staying abreast of the latest trends in tennis coaching, sports management, and customer service.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in tennis coaching.
Friendly, punctual, and professional demeanor.
Ability to deliver high-quality coaching sessions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
