We're looking for an inspiring and enthusiastic Tennis Coach, to join our friendly team, here, at Edgbaston Priory Club.

If you're looking for a fun and lively place to work, have a great personality and can-do attitude and offer flexibility for hours suited to the role, we’d love to hear from you!

The role will include group coaching hours and one-to-one coaching. The primary focus of the role is to deliver to our established coaching programme.

The successful candidate will work within all of our programme sectors; junior, adult, performance, and community.

Edgbaston Priory is set in 14 acres of beautiful grounds just five minutes from Birmingham’s vibrant city centre, the Club today offers Members 21st century tennis, squash and lifestyle facilities – the perfect place to train play, relax and unwind.

Our facilities include:

32 tennis courts, including eight indoor courts, offering all the grand slam surfaces

10 squash courts, 8 with glass back walls

A fitness Suite, offering a gym and exercise studio

Heated indoor and outdoor swimming pools open all year round, and sauna, steam room and outside spa

Clubhouse with sports bar, outdoor patio area, bistro, family lounge area and private function suite for private and club functions.

The successful applicant needs to be passionate about tennis and be willing to be part of a close-knit coaching team who are dedicated to providing excellent experiences for our members.

•Level 4 coach or an experienced Level 3 coach.
•Be able to work daytime, evening and at least one day at weekends.
•Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people at all levels
•Be hard working, highly motivated, committed, ambitious and have initiative
•Be professional, reliable and have a positive ‘can do’ attitude
•Be actively seeking CPD
•Have a good playing level
•Show attention to detail and good administration
