Join our dynamic team as the lead Performance Coach of all of our Green and Yellow ball players, where you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of tennis talent. You will have full responsibility over this section of the academy with the sole mission of developing high-level tennis players through our performance programme. You will be responsible for planning, scheduling and organising both group and individual performance programmes, upholding exceptional standards in every session, and maintaining our vision and performance environment in alignment with our outcome goals. The role will also include tournament trips with players.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the performance coaching team, engaging in weekly meetings, programme scheduling, and striving for excellence in on-court delivery for both squad and individual training.
- Develop players from the ACES programme into the NTA U10 Futures and 11+ Academy, elevating player standards at each age and stage.
- Expand talent recruitment using schools, county-wide initiatives, and NTA programmes.
- Effectively communicate and educate parents through various media, including direct interactions.
- Design and manage player timetables and schedules following Long-Term Player Development (LTPD) guidelines to achieve top standards.
- Continuously seek coach education to enhance performance training knowledge and methods, including networking and supporting ACES pathway programme coaches.
- Leading the futures development of delivery topics, goals, and outcomes, including physical development aspects for the U10 and 11+ academy.
- Manage player transitions within the performance programme with effective measurements and parent communication.

Outcome and Accountability:
- Ensure player retention within the performance programme.
- Foster engagement and connection with the wider NTA team.
- Deliver consistent and progressive coaching.
- Achieve competitive results, including county team representation and local exposure through county championships.
- Gain local and national recognition for the programme through media exposure and results.

Goals and Aims:
- Regular review and revision of programme outcomes, adapting to the evolving performance landscape.

-County team representation percentage
- Regional training player selections
- G3 + G2 results
- Support from LTA Regional Performance Officers
- Number and retention of players within the performance programme

Remuneration
- The role offers competitive earnings which range between £30,000 - £45,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications along with progressions within the role..

The NTA Academy in Norfolk is growing and we are always looking to expand our coaching team in 2024. We have 40 kids in our performance academy and have had lots of success at national level competition, as well as regional and county wide.

We are looking for a person who is willing to continue build our performance programme by working closely with a surrounding team of coaches. The individual will need to have good communication skills with parents and players and be proactive and motivated to develop their own coaching skill set. They will need to be willing to travel to support players at tournaments, county, regionally and nationally. The person needs to always be looking to develop their coaching experience and qualifications whilst portraying as a strong role model for all players on the pathway. Ideally, it would be someone who can be “all in” and inspire the next generations of players who come through the tiers of our performance programme.

Communication:

- Maintain excellent, regular, and proactive communication, both positive and negative.
- Ensure team alignment with programme goals through clear communication.
- Exhibit the presence and responsibility of a performance coach, providing regular contact, guidance, and leading by example.

Expectations
- Act as a team player within NTA, supporting and advising our coaching family.
- Pursue professional development through training, courses, conferences, experiences, and self-education.
- Consider pursuing SPC L4 opportunities (if not already)
- Stay informed about NTA company policies and initiatives, ensuring the website reflects current programme information.
- Maintain LTA accreditation+ at all times.
