We are seeking an LTA Level 3 (or above) accredited+ coach. (Strong Level 2's who are close to completing their Level 3 course will be considered).


The coach will work within both our adult and junior tennis programme and performance programme, delivering lessons to a variety of ages and abilities. As a result, the coach must be well organised, punctual, engaging and above all, be able to deliver a consistent high quality on court product.


The position is a self employed role, with 25 hours currently on offer. The successful candidate will also have the ability to build a large 1-2-1 coaching business in addition.


The coach will be encouraged to involve themselves in the regular rackets events and competitions. Building a positive relationship with the clubs rackets members will be an important part of building the coaches business.

Bromley Sports Club based in the heart of Bromley, is a multi sports club offering Tennis, Padel, Squash, Racketball, Table Tennis, Cricket and a large bar area.

We have 4 hard courts (2 bubble September - April), 2 Clay courts, 4 grass courts and 2 mini courts.

Our coaching programme has gone from strength to strength in recent years and has grown to over 360 participants. We offer coaching for those who are completely new to the game through to national and international players, with our 18&U boys team making it through to national finals for the 3rd year running.

We are in an extremely exciting time for the club with over £500,000 invested into the club facilities this year with a view to continue to develop the clubs offering to members and participants of the coaching programme.

We are looking for a passionate individual willing to commit to Bromley Sports Club and develop their professional career within our existing dedicated Coaching Team. The key to making a success of this role is the ability to inspire and engage with players, members, and our coaching team alike, so you’ll need to be excellent at communicating and building relationships.

- Minimum Level 2 or upwards Accredited/Accredited+ including up to date certificates to meet this requirement.
- Be skilled at coaching and willing to promote LTA initiatives.
- Be flexible to work a variety of hours including daytime, after school hours, evenings, Saturdays and school holidays.
- Have experience of and a willingness to coach in schools and holiday camps.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people at all levels.
- Work positively with the Coaching Director, General Manager, and wider Coaching Team
- Demonstrate strong teamwork and a positive mindset
- Be hard working, highly motivated, committed, ambitious and have initiative
- Be professional, reliable and have a positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Have a strong playing level
- Show attention to detail and good administration
