This course, written by international experts in children’s motor skill and tennis development, includes a progressive and inclusive approach to tennis coaching that allows children from any background and ability to participate.
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Describe the rationale and objectives of LTA Youth.
- Articulate the qualities and framework of the content.
- Understand the support available to effectively manage and deliver LTA Youth.
This course is designed to equip coaches working with children aged 4-18 and that are looking to help them develop both as players but also as individuals.
The LTA is the national governing body for tennis in Great Britain, and its mission is to get more people play tennis more often. The LTA focuses on a number of key areas of work which include coach development, competition and major events, high performance support, officiating and participation support among others.
