Wheelchair Tennis: Building Tools and Confidence for Coaches is aimed at coaches with aspirations to develop a pathway and opportunities for players with physical impairments.
By the end of this course you will:
- Have a better understanding of the UK physical impairment demographics, the rules and classification criteria of wheelchair tennis.
- Be able to suggest appropriate chairs to players and know the critical components.
- Have confidence to deliver the fundamental movement patterns and basic coaching principles to new and established players.
- Be able to develop and grow your wheelchair tennis programme and understand the benefits of this.
- Know where to signpost players to support their development and be able to reference the player pathway.

This course takes approximately two hours to complete and is approved for 2 CPD credits. Upon successful completion, it should take up to 24 hours for your CPD credits to be allocated.
