This course, developed by the LTA, in collaboration with MENCAP and LTA master tutors, helps you understand the various types of learning disabilities and equips you with several strategies for effective communication to support players with a learning disability.
By the end of this course, you will:
- Understand different types of learning disabilities and difficulties.
- Effectively communicate with players who have a learning disability.
- Understand the learning disability tennis player pathway and how to get more players involved.
This course is ideal for coaches who are currently delivering sessions that include players with a learning disability and for those who’d like to be better prepared to deliver learning disability specific or inclusive sessions in the future.
