The capital boasts over 550 tennis venues, which equates to approximately 3000 courts for players to take advantage of and hone their skills. Nearly 60% of these courts are set in some of London’s iconic parks and other green spaces, with a vast number readily available to book through our online booking system below, either as pay to play or even free to book courts.

London also has over 50 venues with disability specific programmes, including an award-winning session run through the LTA Open Court programme at Highgate Cricket & Lawn tennis club in Haringey, as well as successful programmes at Purley Bury Tennis Club in Croydon and Shooter’s Hill LTC in Greenwich.

Wimbledon is the oldest tennis tournament in the world and is regarded by many as the most prestigious. It has been held at the All England Club in Wimbledon, London, since 1877 and boasts a roll of honour that includes the likes of Roger Federer, Serena Williams and of course, Sir Andy Murray.
The cinch Championships is an annual tournament for male tennis players, held on grass courts at the Queen's Club in West Kensington, London. Meanwhile, the Surbiton Trophy is another London-based tennis tournament for male and female professional players that usually marks the start of the British grass court season.
