I teach children, juniors and adults - working primarily in East London and Essex. I am a coach at the Lee Valley Hockey & Tennis Centre where I teach various group sessions including Cardio Tennis, Social Tennis, advanced juniors & teens as well as beginner, intermediate and advanced adults. I also work for the National Tennis Association (NTA) coaching minis, juniors and adult groups in our new London Borough of Redbridge programme. Coach Accreditation is the LTA’s professional membership scheme for coaches. Being accredited ensures that a coach is qualified, insured and meets safe-to-practice standards, such as first aid and safeguarding training. An Accredited+ coach also commits to a minimum of 15 hours of professional development training each year.
Qualifications range from 1 to 5 and indicate the level of formally-assessed training a coach has completed. Coaches begin the LTA Qualification pathway at LTA Assistant (Level 1) and are able to train up to Master Coach (Level 5), the highest available LTA qualification. When choosing a coach we recommend taking into account qualifications, experience and ongoing CPD training, which can be seen in their 'Recently completed training courses' tab.
