I have been coaching tennis for nearly 24 years in a variety of places across the world and players of all levels from beginners through to internationally ranked players. Tennis coaching is a fantastic opportunity to teach someone a skill that they will have for the rest of their life in a sport that is enjoyed by all ages. I aim to make my lessons engaging and fun with a focus that matches the level of the player to ensure that they leave every session having learnt something.

Coach Accreditation is the LTA’s professional membership scheme for coaches. Being accredited ensures that a coach is qualified, insured and meets safe-to-practice standards, such as first aid and safeguarding training. An Accredited+ coach also commits to a minimum of 15 hours of professional development training each year.
Qualifications range from 1 to 5 and indicate the level of formally-assessed training a coach has completed. Coaches begin the LTA Qualification pathway at LTA Assistant (Level 1) and are able to train up to Master Coach (Level 5), the highest available LTA qualification. When choosing a coach we recommend taking into account qualifications, experience and ongoing CPD training, which can be seen in their 'Recently completed training courses' tab.
All coaches displayed on this tool are committed to delivering tennis to people of all backgrounds including disability, faith, gender identity, race, sex and sexual orientation.
