Massively got the bug for tennis whilst studying Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Lincoln. After graduating I decide to get my LTA Coaching badges whilst gaining experience as an assistant coach at my local club before becoming Head coach in September 2016. I started life at Saxmundham Tennis Club as a junior myself almost a decade ago and therefore it feels great to have come full circle.

Coach Accreditation is the LTA’s professional membership scheme for coaches. Being accredited ensures that a coach is qualified, insured and meets safe-to-practice standards, such as first aid and safeguarding training. An Accredited+ coach also commits to a minimum of 15 hours of professional development training each year.
Qualifications range from 1 to 5 and indicate the level of formally-assessed training a coach has completed. Coaches begin the LTA Qualification pathway at LTA Assistant (Level 1) and are able to train up to Master Coach (Level 5), the highest available LTA qualification. When choosing a coach we recommend taking into account qualifications, experience and ongoing CPD training, which can be seen in their 'Recently completed training courses' tab.
All coaches displayed on this tool are committed to delivering tennis to people of all backgrounds including disability, faith, gender identity, race, sex and sexual orientation.
