I have 20 years on and off court experience in tennis coaching, mentoring and development. I worked for the National Governing Body for tennis in Wales for 16yrs in various roles from performance and workforce development to safeguarding, club support and equality. I am currently joint director of Tennis Squad, a first class tennis coaching provider in South Wales. I am passionate about developing and supporting coaches on the career pathway.

Coach Accreditation is the LTA’s professional membership scheme for coaches. Being accredited ensures that a coach is qualified, insured and meets safe-to-practice standards, such as first aid and safeguarding training. An Accredited+ coach also commits to a minimum of 15 hours of professional development training each year.
Qualifications range from 1 to 5 and indicate the level of formally-assessed training a coach has completed. Coaches begin the LTA Qualification pathway at LTA Assistant (Level 1) and are able to train up to Master Coach (Level 5), the highest available LTA qualification. When choosing a coach we recommend taking into account qualifications, experience and ongoing CPD training, which can be seen in their 'Recently completed training courses' tab.
