Matthew has over 30 years of tennis coaching experience. Most recently Matthew was the Tennis Manager at the David Lloyd Club in Heston and the Head Pro at Elthorne Park. He is now joint owner of the Pitshanger Park Tennis, Football and Netball Centre. He is well acquainted with developing the various strands of a tennis club, including junior coaching, adult/junior teams and maintaining facilities to the high standards expected.

Coach Accreditation is the LTA’s professional membership scheme for coaches. Being accredited ensures that a coach is qualified, insured and meets safe-to-practice standards, such as first aid and safeguarding training. An Accredited+ coach also commits to a minimum of 15 hours of professional development training each year.
Qualifications range from 1 to 5 and indicate the level of formally-assessed training a coach has completed. Coaches begin the LTA Qualification pathway at LTA Assistant (Level 1) and are able to train up to Master Coach (Level 5), the highest available LTA qualification. When choosing a coach we recommend taking into account qualifications, experience and ongoing CPD training, which can be seen in their 'Recently completed training courses' tab.
