I am a Level 3 accredited+ coach with 11 years on court coaching experience and 29 years playing experience in the Avon County Mens league and National Club league (singles and doubles). I am Head Coach at Cleeve Hill Tennis Club in Downend, and I also coach at the David Lloyd Club based at Emersons Green, offering individual and group lessons to both juniors and adults of all ages. As a tennis coach, there is no greater reward than to see new players learning the game and having fun on court

Coach Accreditation is the LTA’s professional membership scheme for coaches. Being accredited ensures that a coach is qualified, insured and meets safe-to-practice standards, such as first aid and safeguarding training. An Accredited+ coach also commits to a minimum of 15 hours of professional development training each year.
Qualifications range from 1 to 5 and indicate the level of formally-assessed training a coach has completed. Coaches begin the LTA Qualification pathway at LTA Assistant (Level 1) and are able to train up to Master Coach (Level 5), the highest available LTA qualification. When choosing a coach we recommend taking into account qualifications, experience and ongoing CPD training, which can be seen in their 'Recently completed training courses' tab.
