Originally from Sussex I teach all ages and abilities from Mini red through performance juniors at County Standard to adults of all abilities and techniques. I believe tennis lessons should be enjoyable, you should hit a lot of tennis balls and that, when possible the emphasis should be less on rigid prescribed technique and more on tailoring your own natural style and abilities in combination with key tennis skills such as movement, anticipation, shot selection and tactical awareness.

Coach Accreditation is the LTA’s professional membership scheme for coaches. Being accredited ensures that a coach is qualified, insured and meets safe-to-practice standards, such as first aid and safeguarding training. An Accredited+ coach also commits to a minimum of 15 hours of professional development training each year.
Qualifications range from 1 to 5 and indicate the level of formally-assessed training a coach has completed. Coaches begin the LTA Qualification pathway at LTA Assistant (Level 1) and are able to train up to Master Coach (Level 5), the highest available LTA qualification. When choosing a coach we recommend taking into account qualifications, experience and ongoing CPD training, which can be seen in their 'Recently completed training courses' tab.
