Appointed as Head Coach at York Tennis Club in September 2020 I aim to build a thriving coaching programme for juniors and adults alike. I have lots of experience working in schools, teaching large groups and am also a qualified PE teacher. I have captained county age group squads many times but am extremely passionate about getting more people playing our fantastic sport whatever their level. I love the variety that coaching offers and enjoy working with people of all ages and abilities.

Coach Accreditation is the LTA’s professional membership scheme for coaches. Being accredited ensures that a coach is qualified, insured and meets safe-to-practice standards, such as first aid and safeguarding training. An Accredited+ coach also commits to a minimum of 15 hours of professional development training each year.
Qualifications range from 1 to 5 and indicate the level of formally-assessed training a coach has completed. Coaches begin the LTA Qualification pathway at LTA Assistant (Level 1) and are able to train up to Master Coach (Level 5), the highest available LTA qualification. When choosing a coach we recommend taking into account qualifications, experience and ongoing CPD training, which can be seen in their 'Recently completed training courses' tab.
All coaches displayed on this tool are committed to delivering tennis to people of all backgrounds including disability, faith, gender identity, race, sex and sexual orientation.
