I have worked at academies abroad with 2 years coaching in Spain, Australia, New Zealand, USA and Singapore. Previous to this I was the Junior Co-ordinator at David Lloyd Manchester for 3 years. I started as an assistant coach while still at college. The knowledge he gained from his time studying sports psychology and physiology at the University of Manchester has helped him to develop some county and national standard players. In 2014 I completed the level 5 Master Club Coach Award.

Coach Accreditation is the LTA’s professional membership scheme for coaches. Being accredited ensures that a coach is qualified, insured and meets safe-to-practice standards, such as first aid and safeguarding training. An Accredited+ coach also commits to a minimum of 15 hours of professional development training each year.
Qualifications range from 1 to 5 and indicate the level of formally-assessed training a coach has completed. Coaches begin the LTA Qualification pathway at LTA Assistant (Level 1) and are able to train up to Master Coach (Level 5), the highest available LTA qualification. When choosing a coach we recommend taking into account qualifications, experience and ongoing CPD training, which can be seen in their 'Recently completed training courses' tab.
