I am a full time tennis coach with over 30 years experience. I work with players at all level of the game and across all age groups including players with both physical and learning impairments. Since March 2022, I have been the Head Coach at the Avenue TC in Burnham on Sea and in 2023 as Head Coach at Bridgwater TC as well. AdditionalIy I also coach a Millfield School and am lead coach of the Somerset U8 Squad. Prior to this I was based at three Clubs in Surrey for over 28 years.

Coach Accreditation is the LTA’s professional membership scheme for coaches. Being accredited ensures that a coach is qualified, insured and meets safe-to-practice standards, such as first aid and safeguarding training. An Accredited+ coach also commits to a minimum of 15 hours of professional development training each year.
Qualifications range from 1 to 5 and indicate the level of formally-assessed training a coach has completed. Coaches begin the LTA Qualification pathway at LTA Assistant (Level 1) and are able to train up to Master Coach (Level 5), the highest available LTA qualification. When choosing a coach we recommend taking into account qualifications, experience and ongoing CPD training, which can be seen in their 'Recently completed training courses' tab.
