I have always been an avid sportsperson and have also coached hockey, football, and cricket. I discovered tennis later in life which gave me the grounding to understand the frustrations other people experience when starting out in tennis. Although I initially felt like an outsider joining the tennis community, it gave me the understanding to make tennis more accessible. I developed a passion to simplify the tennis journey for people of all levels

Coach Accreditation is the LTA’s professional membership scheme for coaches. Being accredited ensures that a coach is qualified, insured and meets safe-to-practice standards, such as first aid and safeguarding training. An Accredited+ coach also commits to a minimum of 15 hours of professional development training each year.
Qualifications range from 1 to 5 and indicate the level of formally-assessed training a coach has completed. Coaches begin the LTA Qualification pathway at LTA Assistant (Level 1) and are able to train up to Master Coach (Level 5), the highest available LTA qualification. When choosing a coach we recommend taking into account qualifications, experience and ongoing CPD training, which can be seen in their 'Recently completed training courses' tab.
