Im a level level 5, LTA qualified and accredited+ coach with about 25 years coaching experience. I was head coach at Oxshott Village Sports Club for many years, currently head coach and club manager at Sutton Tennis & Squash Club, proud national champions of mens Aegon team tennis 2017. Ive coached almost every kind of player over the years, from tots, mini tennis, juniors from recreational to competitive and the same with adults.

Coach Accreditation is the LTA’s professional membership scheme for coaches. Being accredited ensures that a coach is qualified, insured and meets safe-to-practice standards, such as first aid and safeguarding training. An Accredited+ coach also commits to a minimum of 15 hours of professional development training each year.
Qualifications range from 1 to 5 and indicate the level of formally-assessed training a coach has completed. Coaches begin the LTA Qualification pathway at LTA Assistant (Level 1) and are able to train up to Master Coach (Level 5), the highest available LTA qualification. When choosing a coach we recommend taking into account qualifications, experience and ongoing CPD training, which can be seen in their 'Recently completed training courses' tab.
