I have had a passionate participating interest in tennis from age of 8: playing at local public courts in Clapham Common. Participation through local tennis clubs, attending professional tournaments, meeting past and present professional tennis players and enjoying coaching tennis. The high-points of my performance tennis was to gain scholarship to an exclusive tennis programme at Middlesex University in 1988. In 2013 Lambeth Council licensed me to coach in the Borough. I gained my PTR in 2005.

Coach Accreditation is the LTA’s professional membership scheme for coaches. Being accredited ensures that a coach is qualified, insured and meets safe-to-practice standards, such as first aid and safeguarding training. An Accredited+ coach also commits to a minimum of 15 hours of professional development training each year.
Qualifications range from 1 to 5 and indicate the level of formally-assessed training a coach has completed. Coaches begin the LTA Qualification pathway at LTA Assistant (Level 1) and are able to train up to Master Coach (Level 5), the highest available LTA qualification. When choosing a coach we recommend taking into account qualifications, experience and ongoing CPD training, which can be seen in their 'Recently completed training courses' tab.
All coaches displayed on this tool are committed to delivering tennis to people of all backgrounds including disability, faith, gender identity, race, sex and sexual orientation.
