I am a full time coach with 35 years of on court experience. I am currently head coach at Hartford tennis Club and have been for the past 21 years. I work closely with the committee at the club and try to deliver a full balanced coaching programme for both adults and juniors. My coaching is based around fun as I believe people learn better with a smile on their face.

Coach Accreditation is the LTA’s professional membership scheme for coaches. Being accredited ensures that a coach is qualified, insured and meets safe-to-practice standards, such as first aid and safeguarding training. An Accredited+ coach also commits to a minimum of 15 hours of professional development training each year.
Qualifications range from 1 to 5 and indicate the level of formally-assessed training a coach has completed. Coaches begin the LTA Qualification pathway at LTA Assistant (Level 1) and are able to train up to Master Coach (Level 5), the highest available LTA qualification. When choosing a coach we recommend taking into account qualifications, experience and ongoing CPD training, which can be seen in their 'Recently completed training courses' tab.
All coaches displayed on this tool are committed to delivering tennis to people of all backgrounds including disability, faith, gender identity, race, sex and sexual orientation.
