I’m a Level 4 Senior Performance Coach. I have work in all aspects of coaching from schools, clubs, disability and performance tennis for over 25 years. With the addition of Padel tennis (Feb’25) at my coaching venue, Wrexham Tennis Centre, I have upgraded my coaching skills with completion of intro to Padel , coaching the double glass courses and soon Padel for kids. Coach Accreditation is the LTA’s professional membership scheme for coaches. Being accredited ensures that a coach is qualified, insured and meets safe-to-practice standards, such as first aid and safeguarding training. An Accredited+ coach also commits to a minimum of 15 hours of professional development training each year.
Qualifications range from 1 to 5 and indicate the level of formally-assessed training a coach has completed. Coaches begin the LTA Qualification pathway at LTA Assistant (Level 1) and are able to train up to Master Coach (Level 5), the highest available LTA qualification. When choosing a coach we recommend taking into account qualifications, experience and ongoing CPD training, which can be seen in their 'Recently completed training courses' tab.
