I've been coaching all ages and abilities at a range of clubs and schools in the South London area for over a decade, and am currently Head Coach at Shirley Park LTC, the first club I joined at age 7 and where I've played ever since. My main aim with my coaching is to make sure that all players leave my sessions more comfortable hitting the ball, but most importantly feeling more confident in themselves and more enthusiastic about tennis than when they arrived.

Coach Accreditation is the LTA’s professional membership scheme for coaches. Being accredited ensures that a coach is qualified, insured and meets safe-to-practice standards, such as first aid and safeguarding training. An Accredited+ coach also commits to a minimum of 15 hours of professional development training each year.
Qualifications range from 1 to 5 and indicate the level of formally-assessed training a coach has completed. Coaches begin the LTA Qualification pathway at LTA Assistant (Level 1) and are able to train up to Master Coach (Level 5), the highest available LTA qualification. When choosing a coach we recommend taking into account qualifications, experience and ongoing CPD training, which can be seen in their 'Recently completed training courses' tab.
