I am a professional tennis coach with 30 years experience and a degree in Sports Science. I have worked as a head coach for 16 years at Hertford Tennis Club and then at Orchard Tennis Club. I now coach part time as an assistant coach at Orchard and Welwyn Tennis Club. I love working with all ages and abilities, groups and individuals. I have represented Herts in the County Cup and the Winter Indoor Singles Event.

Coach Accreditation is the LTA’s professional membership scheme for coaches. Being accredited ensures that a coach is qualified, insured and meets safe-to-practice standards, such as first aid and safeguarding training. An Accredited+ coach also commits to a minimum of 15 hours of professional development training each year.
Qualifications range from 1 to 5 and indicate the level of formally-assessed training a coach has completed. Coaches begin the LTA Qualification pathway at LTA Assistant (Level 1) and are able to train up to Master Coach (Level 5), the highest available LTA qualification. When choosing a coach we recommend taking into account qualifications, experience and ongoing CPD training, which can be seen in their 'Recently completed training courses' tab.
