Our 90-minute adult intermediate session will link both technique to tactics in tennis and how both complement each other. We will look at all the different shots in tennis including the forehand, backhand, slice, volley, and overarm serve in both a singles context and a doubles context.
Throughout the term some sessions will be heavily doubles focussed allowing players to understand the roles of each player on a doubles court, the tactics involved in a doubles match, as well as the WHAT, WHY, and HOW framework.
As the term progresses, we will gradually move from the basic fundamentals in tennis to open court points as the player gradually develops a further understanding of tactically WHERE and HOW to hit the ball during a point.
