About the venue

South Shields Tennis Club is located in the heart of South Shields, in the Westoe area. The club is located very close to South Tyneside College in South Shields and is just 5 minutes walk from Chichester Metro Station. We are a friendly, welcoming club and we warmly welcome members of any age, gender or ability. We offer a mix of social and competitive tennis, and junior coaching courses (L.T.A approved) prove very popular, with special promotions by our coaches. We currently field several teams in the Durham & Northumberland league, in both Senior and Veterans categories, combined with friendly internal club tournaments for members, for doubles and singles, at no extra cost.
