About the venue
Please note you can only book 7 days in advance at our courts, with new slots for the following week released at 8pm each day. Archbishops Park is located in the heart of Waterloo, with a rich and fascinating history. The park sits on what was once part of Lambeth Palace, the London home of the Archbishop of Canterbury. In the 19th Century part of the Palace grounds were set aside for use by local people for sports and recreation, and it was opened as a public park in 1901. There are two non-floodlit tennis courts available to book. The closest stations are Lambeth North and Waterloo.
